This class consists of class discussions and hands on scenarios including the latest information on sudden illnesses, caring for bleeding, shock, and preventing disease transmission. Students learn how and when to use first aid using the materials commonly found in the workplace and home. First aid doesn’t have to be boring!

First Aid / CPR Challenges: 1-2 hours

This is for students that are currently certified in CPR or First Aid and would like to challenge one or both by taking a written test and practical skills needed to re-certify without taking an entire course. Students will be allowed to ask questions before testing and will be allowed to test the written once and twice on the practicals. If students need instruction or are not successful on the written or practical they will be referred to take a full class or to study and test again at a new challenge session.
